TMWL-The Early Horizons

This is a 'spin-off' role-play for TMWL, set 300 years before the mages attempted to gain power. In this Rp you'll roleplay as one of the mages, a god, or if your character is old enough, your own characters.

You can get away with a unknown, but most are around 50000-70000.

(Open rp) {Unmei was in her cosmos animal form, weaveing her way in and out of the dark forest trees}

Elrain was there. He walked in front of Unmei
Elrain: It's been a while since the Other gods seen you. so long that most humans forgot you exist

{Unmei sighed, reverting to her human form.} "It's better that way. People fear that which they do not know."

Elrain: so you liked being feared? what do you have against everyone?

{Unmei paused before speaking again} "No. I don't." {She stared at the sky, and didn't say anything for a few moments.} "It's painful, but that's what I have to get through. I don't have any grudge except for my herald's murderer."

Elrain: your the Time and Space Goddess Goddess, don't have the ability to prevent that, or at least find out who did it?

{Unmei's eyes narrowed dangerously.} "What do you think I've been doing this whole time? Sitting on stars and enjoying tea?"

{Unmei paused as she turned to Elrain angrily.} "What now?" {She hissed,} "You brought the rest of the gods here?"

backstory: he was cursed with immortality 6 centuries ago, and now wanders around, looking for someone to undo the curse so he can finally rest.

(Rentu walked through the forest, sharpening his sword meticulously. of all the things he owned, his sword was the thing he loved the most. It was essentially his child and the only thing that had lived as long as him. He walked through a bush, making excessive noise, not that it mattered to him. what was somebody going to do, kill him? fat chance.)

{Unmei paused as she turned to Elrain angrily.} "What now?" {She hissed,} "You brought the rest of the gods here?"

Elrain: She's not a god I don't know who that is the other gods are doing god's know what

{She narrowed her eyes} "..." {She began searching through the forest quietly but swiftly}

(Rentu, tired of walking, tries to find a tree stump to sit and relax on. after not finding one, he simply chops a tree apart with one blow, sits, and continues to sharpen Agitha (his sword.)

{unmei finally saw the figure, and relaxed. He wasn't dangerous. She turned back, one of her boots snapping a twig, creating a loud snapping sound.}

(Rentu perked his head up from the ground)
"Hello? is anyone there?"

{Unmei considered showing herself, but decided it was to much trouble. She contiuned to walk of.}

Elrain on the other hand
Elrain: yeah, who are you?

((Hey))

(Rentu shrugged and went back to Agitha when a sharp pang hit his stomach. he hadn't eaten in weeks. he doubled over from sheer starvation and lay unmoving.)

{Unmei walked back to the man's side, and began to examine him.} "...How odd is that?"

Urken came from behind them, and gave a small laugh. "Hey everyone." she said, looking at everyone in attendance. "Hope Im not late?"

((Lore time-)) {Unmei turned around to see the mage give a small laugh.} "Hello there." {She was a bit kinder to Urken then to most, as they shared the same 'path' of magic}

Urken lifted her hand up, with her 3 forefingers sticking out (its a Japanese thing.) "Hey Unmei, how's it been?"

{Unmei shrugged.} "Ī ne. Just got yelled at by a Kami"

Urken gave a small sigh, "Oh dear...." she said, laughing a bit.

((Try and dig up some lore if youre intrested, if you want a conversation starter, she was just married.))

{Unmei stood up, her long hair gracefully sweeping the floor.} "...I heard from a friend you got married. How's that been?"

Urken smiled, almost proud. "Well, I am. Its working out great." she said, smiling, before leaning down to whisper to her, "And well, if you can keep a secret....we're expecting a kid...soon."

((OoOhH-)) {Unmei blinked in suprise, remembering her herald. She was sad for her herald, but happy for Urken.} "That's wonderful. Do you have a name for the child?"

((What does the OoOhH- mean-))

Urken smiled a bit, "Well, we're thinking of Charon if its a boy, maybe." she said, before playfully nudging Unmei. "But, you know I'll still take on my duties as a mage, head on, correct?"

((I'm getting some lore here-)) {Unmei gave a small smile.} "Still be careful."

((*inhales* And thats not even the START-))

Urken smiled back, "Hey, you know me, of course I will!"

{Unmei nodded.} "Just making sure."

{Unmei then blinked.} "Charon? The person that carries the dead across the river? What made you chose that name?"

Urken nodded, "Yeah that. Well, you see, as unimportant as he may seem, he is actually very important. Thats what I want them to be like. Even if they dont realize it at first, he actually has a very important purpose....of course, thats just the name if its a boy. We dont know any girl names....yet."

{Unmei sat down in thought.} "...Mira?"

Urken sat down next to her. "I like that name....thanks." she said, looking down at Unmei and smiling at her.

{Unmei smiled warmly, as the snapping of twigs could be heard. She turned around to see the radiant Rakurai came out of the bushes. She wore Lightstar's crown.}

Urken stood back up, and gave a bow when she saw Rakurai. "Ah, hello." she said.

{Rakurai gave a bow back, looking worried.} "Greetings Urken. Greetings..." {She looked shocked to see Unmei.} "Unmei."

Urken took a step back, and looked over at Unmei. "Yes....we all came. I was summoned here, and I believe we all were..." she said, closing her eyes in a respectful head-bow. "...what do you need of me?"

{Unmei looked confused.} "I didn't bring anyone here..." {Rakurai nodded, but gave hopeful glances to Unmei an Urken.} "I came here... to warn you about my daughter. Horizonstar...She's been missing for a few days... She says she's seeing witches."

Urken stuck her weapon in the ground and leaned against it. "Interesting...what else has she been saying about these 'witches'? Does she want to become one?"

{Rakurai was near the verge of tears, and Unmei led her to a nearby stump to sit on.} "She says it's a kind witch...Luma...Chimra...no...I think her last name is Charnia..." {The mage was deep in thought and didn't answer.}

Urken pulled out a flask of water, and held it to Rakurai to drink. "There there...." she said, trying to console her. "Im afraid I dont know any witches by those names but....Im sure we will find her."

{Rakurai nodded as Unmei suddenly disappeared A moment later she was carrying Horizonstar, who snarled like a teenager.} "Seriously? Come on now! I'm old enough to look after myself! It's not like my mom cares!"

Urken perked up, and went to Horizonstar, and picked her up in her arms, and spoke with a firm tone. "Hey, dont talk like that! Your mother was worried sick! We all were!"

{Horizonstar looked a little guilty, then growled.} "If she was so worried, then why did she sit with her friends and sip tea in the italic forest? Hm?"

Urken put her on the ground, and kneeled in front of her, and gave her a firmer voice, but not yelling at her. "Her 'sipping tea' was her lamenting every single one of her worries about you! And her 'friends' were the search party she wanted to get organized, soley for the purpose of finding YOU."

{Horizonstar looked more guilty, but poorly hid it with a scrowl. In a small flash of light, she slipped out of Unmei's grasp.} "Okay. I'm sorry." {Then she looked a bit happier.} "Well, I'm going to Charna's. I'll be home before sundown."

Urken stood in front of her, giving her a skeptical look with a raised eyebrow, "Excuse me? Your mother was worried sick about you, and the first thing youre going to fo is LEAVE her?"

{Horizonstar sighed.} "I've had enough of being scolded." {She teleported and then ran through the forest, but she didn't get very far.}

Urken sighed, "Should we go after her? I dont really want to run." she said, crossing her arms over her stomach. "Is this what its going to be like being a mother? I think I have my work cut out for me, then." she said, giving a laugh that turned into a sigh.

{Unmei laughed to.} "Hopefully your child isn't like her in terms of being troublesome." {She then stopped time, casually walked to the running Horizonstar, and brought her back to the same spot.} "Hopefully."

((Hm...headcannon time: Do you think Charon would be a hyper, trouble causing kid?))

Urken sighed, "Well then, I would hope so."

((I don't think so.))

((no. he seems pretty chill))

{Rakurai blinked at it, then pocketed it in the Celestium. She then picked up Horizonstar and nodded.} "Thank you both. I think I'll just take her home and have some tea with her." {She bowed again.} "I'm in your debt."

Urken gave a laughing sigh, "Oh, dont mention it."

{They both watched as Rakurai disappered.} "..."

Urken sighed and looked over at Unmei.

{Unmei looked at the sky, then the ground.} "What should we do now?"

Urken shrugged, "Ah...not sure."

{Unmei then perked up.} "I know," {She said, eyes twinkling,} "Lets go stargazing."

Urken looked up at the sky, "Hey, I like that idea. Lead the way."

{She narrowed her eyes} "..." {She began searching through the forest quietly but swiftly}
