He claims it was his religious obligation to vote against acquittal. Had nothing to do (according to his little speech) with people calling him a traitor. He's hated Trump from at least the beginning of Trump's 2016 campaign and he'll continue to vote against him, no matter what. That right there seems a bit suspect.

I would tend to think most people (especially truly religious people) would've been appalled by Trump ever since the "grab em by the pussy" tape.. or that thing with paying off a porn star... or that thing with paying off a Playboy playmate.. or any of the other dirt bag sh*t he's done. That doesn't necessarily make him guilty in this specific instance. But if Romney felt he was guilty of Abuse of Power than voting for his acquittal would essentially be lying.. which I believe would be covered in the 8th commandment. Mormons believe in the 10 commandments right?

No one is without blame (sin). What he did in his past is irrelevant. It's what he's doing now.

I think it's interesting that you claim Romney is a "complete scumbag of a human being" and yet are willing to look past everything Trump has done. I mean someone's past might be irrelevant if you believe they have changed.... Or at the very least apologized. I do not think Trump has changed and it seems his apologies are extremely rare. Being the way he is got him where he is. Why would he change?
