Good on you for your vow, you're much better off not touching that stuff! Been there done that, bought the tshirt, quit, then burned the tshirt. I'm glad that can at least give you good thoughts of your mom though, good does come out of the bad at times!

There was a paper mill within definite smelling distance of my old high school. It's awful, but nostalgic. Also, subway smell seems comforting to me. I don't know why.

I also know what you mean about Subway. I wouldn't call it comforting to me, but the smell is definitely recognizable.

Cut grass. When my brother and I were little we used to play out in the newly mowed lawn with his toy farm vehicles and my collection of little farm animals. So many fun memories doing that!

I love the smell of new plastic. Like a vinyl shower curtain. They remind me of the smell of the stretch armstrong I got for Christmas as a kid.

That's funny. I remember that rubbery smell of ol' stretch, too. hahhahaha.
