I do believe that opposites attract but not that they will have a happy relationship. So, for something mainly physical, yeah, but for something emotional and long term I think opposites actually repel one another.

Well, im moody, tall, and negative and I’m pretty good friends with someone who is enthusiastic, short, and positive so idk, maybe it is like that and i dont like dogs and love cats and she loves dogs and hates dogs
Yes I do but I cant explain it I guess every couple I see looks good together but then has opposite personalities

I believe opposites attract, as the two like different things, then through each other, they can learn of new things and thus, that strengthens the bond between the two, especially in a bf/gf relationship, or just friendships in general.

Kind of. Some personalities that are similar are perfect and blend, but when there is a personality that clashes with other people with similar personalities than opposites attract. Like, if I liked someone who was just as nerdy as me, we could go well together. But if there was someone who was just as stubborn and pessimistic and introverted as I can be then it would not attract, it would repel.
Eh... They might attract because you admire people with different strengths than yourself. In their union you can end up with a child like me who feels like two opposite people in one. And of course bitterly divorced parents.
