That's an interesting take on how we're viewed by other countries. We may not be a better friend to our allies in the sense of now much they like us, but they certainly know where they stand with us, and that they can't push us around and expect us to pay their way any more. If it was a person to person relationship, I'd say that only means they respect us more, since we don't take their crap. Let's be honest, if there's somebody we know that we can push around, we don't respect them, no matter how much money (or whatever it is that) they have, right? As for our enemies, they know they make a deal with Trump... but they also know he's not shy to pull the trigger. So far, he's used military force in a way that seems to prevent potential war-causing issues to escalate. He's always been anti-war, right? It's bad for business. At least his kind of business.
