What makes a great memer and do you consider RayDog one?

I think what makes someone a great memer is just them making original content, things that are funny and relatable, which means that they're memes don't have to be on the top page, as many people don't know how to upvote these days. I never really looked at RayDog's memes, so I can't quite say, and I don't know if there should even be a leaderboard anymore, as everyone starts fighting for dominance and things can get pretty serious. Also, people pick favorites a lot, which I don't see as necessarily fair, people forget to treat others how they want to be treated. That's what I have to say about that, I would say more, but then I would have to go into depths on the matter.

My first choice is pretty much already at the top. DashHopes is #2. And to me he's a genuine imgflip leader, he encourages new users by interacting with them and upvoting, commenting on their memes, (as he did mine). He doesn't get his nose all out of joint or berate users who don't upvote him or might be critical of his memes. (As I've seen the current top user do pretty often.) His memes are actually original and witty and make me laugh. Don't quite get that from Raydog even looking back on his memes from years ago. I sometimes think his memes make front page because he's at the top of the list so naturally people are going to frequent his profile. Sure wouldn't label him the god or king of imgflip as some do.

And to answer your question: of the memers I knew, I would pick Thparky, TimidDeer, SydneyB (he can be god of the politics stream;) and Slimpickins. Not to exclude anyone but many of you young ones especially haven't been here that long, still have to get the nack of meming and still learning how to be leaders.

Two more users whom I think would make great top user. :)

I mean I do it to be polite (also I have this weird urge that makes me want to click every upvote arrow help me I think I have minor OCD it's getting more prominent everyday I can't even write normally I have to make sure that the ink is the same level on ever letter of every word and it just makes it all messy and then I want to do it to every word because now all the colors are different please help-)

Nope. As I said, nobody ever asked me to be perfect, it was just me until I got over it.

It's more like an itch, it irritates me that that one bit is different than the others, that I wrote one letter wrong so I fixed that one bit, but now it's thicker there so I want to "fix" the whole letter and so on and so on

I think....I think you forced the complex to develop on its own, which is pretty rare but it can happen...and the fact that youre giving into it means that your fostering and nurturing the complex to develop further....

I consider Raydog a good memer and a good guy. He helped me out a bit when I was starting out although socrates (PrayTheReyAway), Octavia_Melody, and Invicta103 played a much bigger role in that. I've had tons of meme-offs with Raydog and he's a genuinely funny guy. However if I were to pick an Imgflipper that truly embodies the spirit of Imgflip, yeah it's DashHopes.

I’m 100% with ememeon here, It depends on how good of a memer they are and if they make original content or not.

Both these people work really hard on making good memes and they are always nice to others. Plus, when there is a tough day at school, looking at their memes is my only bright side of the day. Thank you to Ememeon and Productive Duck for making my day. (I also follow both of them)
