Yeah so why didn't the house do it's job properly?
Don't tell us they did, if they had done their job properly the present situation could never have existed.
This is the real world, in the real world your mistakes have consequences. You whiny bitches are just going to have to face facts that there's nothing brave or controversial to complain about what should have happened when you didn't do your job properly and then expected others to complete it for you.
It's that kind of incompetence and passing the buck that has lead to a virus spreading throughout China and into the world.
Dont be like that virus.
If all the evidence were presented, and then our elected Senators reached an informed judgment that what Trump and Giuliani cooked up on the Bidens in Ukraine was fine, in conjunction with the billions in foreign aid withheld for months, then okay. I would disagree, but okay
All of these specific politicians will be gone from American politics within a decade or so, either through term limits, failure to win re-election, or simply because they are old.
But: the Senate’s acquiescing to the stonewalling and Trump’s own personal refusal to testify sets a dangerous precedent that will make it effectively impossible to ever remove a future President through impeachment, regardless of what set of facts they’re impeached for.
See my new meme of today:
We could have had a Clinton-like acquittal where it was proven he got a BJ and lied about it, but Senators judged it wasn’t a big enough deal to “overturn an election result.”
Instead, we got something far different and scarier.
