Greek Alphabet!

Elliniko Alfavito? => Greek alphabet... I can read the Greek alpha bet a little, but I am not very good in it (I tried to train myself in it when I was on Cos Island (if that is how you spell it in English... Hey I'm from the Netherlands and in Dutch is "Kos").

It's "Elleniko Alfabeto" - Hellenic (as in Greek) alphabet. And apparently, the island's name can be both Kos and Cos in English. 😅 In German it's Kos as well and in Greek it's also spelled with a K (Κως) so I'll stick with that. Interesting, that you've been there too. 🙈

Yeah, but that was a long time ago... I was there with two friends of mine. Must be more than 10 years by now... And yeah, I know the Greek spelling for Kos.When it comes to the beta letter, I know that that is how the letter was called thousands of years ago. In modern Greek the letter is called 'vita' and pronounced as a 'v'. And apparently the 'v' and 'b' come close, as I've seen many miss-translations from Japanese were the 'v' and the 'b' were mixed up (as well as the 'l' and the 'r') and I know that in Spanish the 'v' is pronounced as a 'b' "el vino" [el bino] (the wine). Makes me wonder....
