If you are saying due process does not apply, you are so far off, you can’t be helped. There is a procedural and evidential requirement that applies to the impeachment process. The articles of impeachment were not based on even one single witness who could testify with direct knowledge. Nor was it based on any evidence. It was, literally, based upon, I received a report from someone who received a report from someone who received a report from someone who said something happened. If the American President, any American President, were ever removed in that sort of process, based solely on politically based votes of people voting for politics, over evidence and due process, our money would become immediately devalued, our stock markets would crash and only Canada, England and Japan would rely on our Military forces. Everyone else would not be so nice. Trillions of dollars of world wealth would be lost. And the super rich from everywhere else along with their governments would want nothing other than making all Americans pay them back in a war. Sounds crazy. But that’s what would happen.
