tin foil hat

tin foil hat | THE HOUSE SHOULD HAVE GONE THOUGH THE LEGAL PROCESS TO GET THE EVIDENCE AND COMPLETE THE INVESTIGATION, RATHER THAN PASSING IT OFF TO THE SENATE AND THEN DEMANDING THE OTHER PARTY COMPLETE THE IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY. THE OUTCOME OF NOT DOING SO IS SO OBVIOUS THAT IT IS BEYOND INCOMPETENCE TO FAIL TO DO SO, AS IF THE DEMOCRATS SABOTAGED IMPEACHMENT BECAUSE THEY KNEW IT WOULD FAIL, AND NOW CAN BLAME THE REPUBLICANS AND USE IT TO INFLUENCE THE NEXT ELECTION. | image tagged in tin foil hat | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

You can cross off everything except "influencing the Election" . That's exactly what the Democrats are doing .

Are you sure they are not influencing it? think about it for just a second.

Sorry, but you can’t foist the Senate’s responsibility to conduct a fair impeachment trial onto the House Democrats.

Democrats spent months gathering evidence during the pre-impeachment hearings and got as far as they could until they hit a brick wall in terms of the Trump Administration’s stonewalling.

There’s still so much evidence and testimony yet to be collected — and as it all trickles out over the coming months and years, it will become increasingly clear to the American people what a fly-by-night “trial” and cover-up this was

We’ll see if the Senate even lets a single witness (Bolton) testify. They better, because all that information is coming out in his book anyway.

Even if so, there’s a laundry list of people to hear from including — oh yeah, President Trump himself. Clinton as rotten as he was at least bothered to testify.

The House has the sole power of impeachment, and therefore asking the Senate to complete the impeachment inquiry to get basic facts that should have been known before the trial is the foisting of responsibility and spewing talking points will not change the fact that The House did not bother to go though the process to get that basic evidence before going to trial.

“Republicans are allowed to stonewall for months and it is the Democrats’ fault for not running to the courts in an attempt to get them to stop” is the new right-wing impeachment talking point, and it is just as silly as all the ones that came before

Only one party is read interested at getting at the truth of the matter, and it is not the one led by McConnell

Neither party is interested in the truth. If dems where they'd have completed the inquiry, allowed defense witnesses, and released the full depositions instead of selectively releasing info.

And going though the courts to settle intergovernmental disputes about the interpretation of law is normal, as that is the constitutional role of the courts. While dropping the issue after going to court and then trying to get around the constitutional role of the courts and the checks and balances against either sides abuse is an abnormal abuse of the system. But thanks for the kool-aid.
