You get it man. People we days are remembered for the dumbest reasons. We shouldn't remember popstars whose main feature is a big ass or some extravagant lifestyle. We should remember the scientist, the teachers, the explorers who actually made something of their life.

what about military soldiers

It tends to be people with quite dull lives who care about celebrity personal lives, at least in the UK. It's a working class thing to talk about celebrities, middle class people don't tend to do this so much, if at all.

You got to keep yourself entertained to keep your mind out of things and the depression at a controllable level ;p why they revere to celebritelies I guess is a lot less healthy than other forms of ed entertainment like video games. Then even politics have been targeting video games because they can't use them to manipulate people... yet.

Governments do spread politics through video games. Haven't you noticed how video games are all about shooting and killing?
New neural pathways are formed when an activity is repeated, especially in adolescence.
Most people join the army because they enjoyed playing the Xbox and PlayStation games.

I can see a number of video game players joining the military from playing war video games. But what does that has to do with politics or government? I am referring to political agendas being pushed through video games. There may be a small percentage of games that do, but a very small percentage, not significant enough. Maybe in the future politicians will also use video games to manipulate people, but I do not see it happening yet, not at a significant level compared to television shows or movies.
