Ah, I think it's too smart for stupid. Like the person I responded to who didn't get it. I explained enough about who and what that if you still didn't get it you could have googled bohemian rhapsody malek. Im sure it would have been the first thing up. I didn't search because I worked iy out.
I can onky say it's not that the meme doesn't work but it's just a little obscure because of malek and dalek. Only Dr who fans will know them and malek is not that well known eve4after the big role.

Personally I like obscure memes. If your thinking points then worry about making them for the lowest common denominator, and follow the formula you know.. Or make gifs for the fun stream and there you want people to get it quick because of the wide audience. So anyway I liked the meme for its originality.

I don't know man. From the confusion in the comments, I feel like I failed at what I was going for.

(I'm much more of a fan of the "instantly recognizable/understandable" approach to memeing personally, rather than the "make people mull over it" approach.)
