Trump hasn’t offered to testify himself, but he did say he wants more witnesses. As do the Dems. Only Senate Republicans are smart enough to realize what a disaster that would be.

But truth has a way of coming out eventually, and if this impeachment is rushed through without hearing all the relevant evidence, Republicans could be setting themselves up for electoral catastrophe later.

If Trump is really innocent? Then put all the cards on the table now. Show America how a fair impeachment trial is run. Make Democrats run back to their hidey holes and welcome a 2020 landslide in Trump’s favor.
