And I'm a huge sci fi fan...I just don't like Star Wars. The beyond reality of it just makes it lame to me. I prefer sci fi that leaves the possibility that what you are seeing could be real somewhere...Star Wars does not, because most of it is made up nonsense. To each his/her own!

I like realism in movies myself. But it’s not necessary in Sci Fi. SW does border a little on the fantasy side, but I like some of that too. If it’s good, like Lord of the Rings. But yeah, to each his own... Meme on! 😎👍

I did like LotR. They got progressively worse as they made more, but that's to be expected. I do like some fantasy, but to me, Star Wars is 100% fantasy. Star Trek is a little less fantasy, at least how I see it it is. Have you ever watched The Outer Limits? I've been binging the 1995-2001 version for the last month or two. I'm on the final ten episodes, so yeah, I watch a lot of TV/movies. Well over 100 hours of this show, I have watched in the past two months. I sort of did Yoda there, did you notice?

I haven’t seen much outer limits. Cool show though. And the Twilight Zone. The movie was ok. Stephen King’s Creepshow was good too. Almost, Yoda would have said “have I watched”... 😉

Yes, Twilight Zone and Outer Limits are basically the same show. Haven't seen Creepshow, but may check it out based on your recommendation. Ah yes, "have I watched"...not "I have watched"....See, I'm not Star Wars fan!

Yeah, that was the year Return of the Jedi came out. Nothing really compares to the first three. And if you were young, (I was 7 when the first one came out), with it being the best special effects around, it was pretty awesome. It sure blew mom and dad’s boring Star Trek tv show away! 😆

It's very weird that I am not a fan of either of those iconic shows. Like I said, I am obsessed with sci fi sh1t. The music I listen to: synthwave, vaporwave, etc. Why? Becuase it makes me feel like it's possible I'm on a spaceship, travelling the universe without a care in the...universe. I dunno, maybe someday I'll sit down and watch all of them and give them an honest chance.

You could, but I doubt if you’d like them now. It’s so dated looking back. Have you seen the show Dark Matter? Been watching that lately. Pretty good so far...
