No, seriously! This looks like a scam. Please tell me it is.

So, here we are. I'm a conservative and occasionally I get these asinine websites in my feed. Google, facebook, whatever... I have a legitimate question as stated in the meme perfectly. Is this website for real?

The source of this "survey" if it can even be called that, is from this website. https://action.donaldjtrump.com/

On the surface, it looks pretty legit. A Republican National Committee website with a name change to reflect the current President, but the survey that started this looked like this.

For those of you who are reluctant to click on that, and I completely understand if you do, here are the "survey" questions.

Notice the amount of money selected in the above screenshot of the meme. The $100 is highlighted first before what I presume is a modest $35 and $50. This website just screams scam doesn't it? Yet, I have an unfortunate pit in my stomach that it's legit. Please say it ain't so. I ran it against "Is this a scam" websites and most are coming up legit.

It's real, he owns it. It's the official campaign website.

The questions reflect the things he's been talking about at his rally's.

Wow, talk about biased polls and propaganda bullshit.

I suppose that means you give the unpopular answer to all of the questions then.

pro-socialism (1, 2, 4, 5), anti-trump (3), open borders (6,7,8)

Why bother? These questions don't determine anything but confirmation bias. I'll be tearing it up in more detail in a bit.

It would be more effective if Trump was asking questions that were more open ended OR strictly yes or no.

The yes or no questions are actually the better part of the "survey" but some come with an unnecessary secondary premise. Only one seems genuine.

"Do you agree with President Trump that Democrats have become the party of OPEN BORDERS?"

It's the most direct question of the survey and doesn't lead the survey taker to a biased conclusion. You can certainly disagree with Trump on this issue and possibly still be for Donald Trump.

"Would you be upset if YOUR taxes being raised in order to pay for socialist programs like the $92 TRILLION Green New Deal?"

Is trickier. "Would you be upset if your taxes being raised" Stop, no one enjoys their taxes being raised. Certainly people would be upset if taxes were raised for things they do not want. "..in order to pay for socialist programs like the $92 TRILLION Green New Deal?" Is deceptive. No one wants the Green New Deal. Not even Democrats. But if the question was... "Would you want your taxes to be raised for socialist programs?" Would've been a more apt question. For example, would these socialist programs be for healthcare or to strengthen social security or medicaid? The answer might change depending on how the question is asked.

Worse, none of these questions actually advocate anything. They're all a push back on Democrats. Where is the wall? Why isn't he asking anything about social security? Where are the questions about the things he's going to in addition to what he promised in 2016? Is he advocating to stay the course and the wall and no raise in taxes or cuts to social security?

And worse off, why does his official site look like a scam?

I should note, that originally when I took this survey, and I did take it, that there was a check mark by the monthly payments just as the $100 was the default amount for this BILLIONAIRE asking for a handout wanted. They've since then removed the default check mark to monthly payments. Which is admirable. Perhaps they've already met their goal?
