Why does the Air Force need camouflage uniforms?

It's in the event of a paradrop or crash land, if I'm not mistaken.

So why does the Space Force need camouflage?

I mean... I guess? Or if Space Pirates which aren't yet a thing board their ship which isn't yet a thing and there's a firefight against the metal walling.

The Space Force currently uses Air Force stuff for now until it gains more autonomy and support. However, I doubt there will be servicemen floating in space with this uniform on, same with a black one as it’s kinda hard to hide in space, especially since you can’t move :).

I know, right? It's almost like what is the point in the first place if we literally have no reason to deploy troops in space?

I don't believe sending troops up into space, but other members of the military, such as mechanics and engineers, research teams, and those manning the stations themselves. I think that most of the service members will be on the ground for the next 10-20 years. I wouldn't be surprised if by that time A.I and robotics were good enough to independently man the stations with humans ao-board.

It could be possible that we would need to deploy troops in space by say, 2100-2150 to better secure stations and possibly bases.
It is possible and very likely that in the near future we could begin mining minerals from asteroids and the moon. This may require an armed security force to protect it if space travel becomes advanced enough, which it may if you look at how fast Humanity has developed new technology.

You're talking about things that are nowhere near close to being relevant. We're talking reinforcing air strips and building AA turrets in the American Revolution: this is money wasted on the irrelevant.
