Tbh, in Michigan.
Here are the reasons
-long winters (I love snow)
-Great Lakes (basically no salt no shark oceans)
-sand dunes
-no major natural disasters (besides the occasional heavy floods or blizzards)
-high five state

The sand dunes are awesome! (Beware of the stupid weather, tho)

Ik, I currently live in Michigan. One day, 70 degrees and sunny, the next 43 degrees and rain

I live in Michigan, too. Once, it was 60 degrees (in mid winter) and the next day it was back to -10.

Oh geez. I remember one week where the average temperature was -10 degrees the entire week
