Nuclear weapons are horrific.

How many have you lived through?

Just because I didn't live through a nuclear blast doesn't mean I can't say it's horrific.

Not that I expect us to ever use another one, the idea of getting conflicts over quickly has some merit. Iran will never just go away or decide that forcing a radicalized form of Islam on the world through violence is bad policy. At some point the west will have to decide to fight or surrender. That last option will cause more bloodshed than a few nukes.
