That wasn’t a quid pro quo, that was a legitimate use of foreign aid as a bargaining chip. Biden’s son wasn’t under investigation and Biden was trying to pressure the Ukrainians *to* prosecute corruption.

If we are to hold someone accountable for their honesty and integrity as a leader, the subject of the lie is a secondary matter. Take Trump and his over 13k lies for example.

Accountable for what exactly? Didn't Biden say something like, " fire him or your not getting the billion.."

Here’s a cut and dry explanation of the differences between those two things.

Trump sought to have one specific political rival investigated. When Biden made the threat it actually was about Ukrainian corruption.

Yes I hear you but we have biden on tape committing a crime but where's the evidence of trumps wrongdoing? And it wasn't Ukrainian corruption, Ukraines prosecutor was actually investigating biden and his sons corruption in Ukraine, that's why Biden wanted him gone. Have you not looked into any of this?

What’s clear is that a company board member partaking in cocaine and hookers (heck, let’s just assume all of it is true) halfway across the world does not justify the personal involvement of the President of the United States and the withholding of billions of dollars in critical, congressionally-appropriated military aid
