WHY IS BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY (proven to be from God's teachings), THE ONLY FAITH WITH NO LEGALISTIC LIST OF WORKS REQUIRED TO EARN YOUR OWN WAY TO HEAVEN? Jesus promises: "He who OVERCOMES, I will NEVER blot out his name from the Book of Life (Rev 3:5)." Paul says: "Everyone who is born of God OVERCOMES the world (1 John 4).” Paul explains being born of God: "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord & believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." So why do all other faiths (built on Man’s teachings), like Catholicism, Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Mormonism, Scientology, etc., scare their followers, saying they have to work for their own salvation & can lose it at any time? Those non-biblical-Christian faiths (cults), call Jesus a liar by hanging salvation over their follower's heads. That's why cult followers are often scared to death. Cults want full control so they make up requirements for their followers to reach heaven. Those works are laid onto the shoulders of their followers, making them pursue heaven by their own life of hard work, stress & donations to the cult. Even then, the anxious followers don't know if they've done enough to reach heaven. They never have assurance of salvation. So to build the cult, they knock on doors, hand out pamphlets, attend services, abstain from foods the cult requires, and do all the cult tells them to do. Unfortunately, it's often a horrid life where rates of drug & alcohol abuse are high, immorality is way up & suicide rates are through the roof. Why? Again, it's because of all the legalist requirements from the cult to scare followers, by denying Jesus' free salvation, to gain compliance with cult demands. Contrast that with biblical Christian study & reliance on the Bible. We have peace knowing we're saved & nothing can change that so we're excited & compelled to share that joy with others. Christ's love compels us. We're glad He did it all and we want to serve Him. Who wouldn't want to, after what Jesus did for us?
