That's the reason why I love my mom so much.

What I see: just a little piece of glass in my finger it’s fine
What my dad sees: oh it’s nothing dear let’s just pull that out
What my mom sees: nothing she left

She’s back but not for long
She works from 2 in the afternoon to 2 at night

What I feel: Something brushed against my hand
What everybody including me can see: I sliced my thumb clean open
