Democrats will vote for impeachment republicans will vote no. It will go strictly on party lines

Well you are going to be correct in substance however, sane people no matter their affiliation, will look at the evidence. Since the evidence already out in public shows he is a threat to democracy and national security, he should be removed. Now I cant expect a party that has trump sign a pledge before even nominating him, and a Senate leader that flat out admits he does not care about the evidence at all... to anything sane, or good for this country or democracy. The gop and trump have really turned our nation to divided shit.

I would be willing to bet if it were a secret ballot so the republicans did not have to listen to their Appalachian voters whine or risk losing their seats over it, he would be gone in a heartbeat. Same reason so many goppers supported the invasion of Iraq, even though they knew it was a bad idea, the did not want to get Dixie Chicked.
