I do enough to help the environment without being penalised additionally a tax which you espouse would only be 2% extra but that sounds a bit optimistic to believe it would be sustained at that.

Nobody truly can say exactly how much we need to do. But we need to do something. Greenhouse gas emissions per year are *still* rising year after year. (See chart). Despite all the talk on this issue, and some promising technological breakthroughs in the meantime: has not translated into meaningful action as yet.

We gotta at least try something. But too many here are content to ridicule Greta's face and fight even a 2% tax like it was Communism.

I did not agree with her upset tone at the U.N. speech, it does not make friends and influence people, but anyone who truly understands this issue has a right to be.
