Funny Story I was coming home from overseas for Christmas in the early 90's. 92 around the time of the end of the Gulf War. The planes were grounded and then after the weather cleared they were all full. We were stuck in NY. A man came up and guided us to a private plane and flew every service member to their destination city. I cannot imagine the cost. That plane was owned by Donald Trump. We never saw him or heard him or even knew the only reason we found out was a stewardess told us it was his plane. We would have never gotten home that Christmas. News does not tell you these things does it?

Nice story and memory for you. The stories from employees from his defunct airline are pretty extraordinary as well. Including paying all the medical costs for one employees wife who was dying with cancer and sending him home to be with her, full pay for her final weeks.
