No, voluntary donations by people like myself (donations to what, exactly?) are not going to be remotely enough to solve this issue. The scale of the climate change problem is simply too massive to be solved voluntarily. It must be solved by so-far undiscovered, heroic moon-shot technology, or else by coordinated action by the world's governments on a massive scale.

We have come together as a society before to end slavery, beat Hitler, face down the USSR, put a man on the moon, and more. Climate change is no different. We all have to fight it, and we can do it.
