I didn't like it as much as the old one, but I was pretty impressed with how good it was.

I didn’t see it

To me it was a continuing theme of remade Disney movies with tons of CGI, and this one while visually impressive was basically the same movie down to the individual lines, songs, and vantage points and sadly enough there was even more fart humor which while entertaining for a 12 year old was rather disappointing as an adult, and it wasn't even masked at all, like, hey we're making a fart joke and we want to be overly obvious. I thought it was rather uncreative. Only went to see it because my wife wanted to go.

I was disappointed too when I didn't hear timon say "pumba, not in front of the kids". My opinion is that the new cartoons have too many fart jokes and other similarly humor. I would much rather watch a cartoon like the original lion king, the fox and the hound etc. Back when they knew how to make a cartoon or just movies in general, entertaining and funny without all that stuff.
