The Mythic Wasteland: Part 10

Erin was at a small camp she made, practicing her swordsmanship on a training dummy

“Sounds dangerous. But I can beat it.”

{Valiku glanced at Erin and then at the dark sky, it gave her an eerie feeling.} "Erin'" {Valiku called out} "Do you wanna come with us?"

"alright, lemme grab my crap." she went to the tent, and grabbed a sack of food and clothes, then ran after Valiku, not noticed the hoodie dude

Dustin: I'll come with you guys, I did have a group but I abandoned them, they were too weak for me. I need stronger teammates.
The others looked confused
Dustin: sorry, I'm Dustin. now I'm coming too. no questions asked guarantee.

Erin: that's not your choice. if you want to come along, you better prove your f**kin usefulness.

{Valiku padded through, followed by electra, lunarfall and lightstar. It wasn't long before they came into sight of the fretting Charna.}

From some bushes Dustin, a Man with a blue hoodie a mask a and a grey pair of pants.

Charon looked over at Dustin. "Oh...hey."

((wait, Charons with Erin and them? I'm fine with that. I'm just confused that Charon can be everywhere))
Dustin: Oh, you guys. ugh... I'll still come.

((Yeah. And...Charon is always just in one place. He just runs off often. Ill cool it, though.))

Charon nodded, "Um....sorry you....kinda-died."

{Valiku kept staring at the gray sky, but she causally said: } "What matters is he isn't dead."

Twilight: thanks dog, for lack of a name, but this being is far more powerful than anyone you face
Ezra: you heard of Darkain
Twilight: of course.
Ezra: we went head to head against him.
Emilia: and like I said earlier... lost.
Tessy: someone, get this cat a muzzle!

{Lightstar snarled, breaking out of Charon's grasp.} "I CAN TAKE HER ON! I'LL RIP HER TO SHREADS!!"

Charon grabbed her again, "NO, YOU CANT! YOULL BE TORN TO SHREDS! NOT HER!"

Twilight: listen to the man. I nearly lost my head when i last faced her. and the time before that, she Stabbed me in the heart and i nearly bled out.

"Wise choice" {Said a voice behind them} "It'll make it easier to rip you apart."

“NOT IF I’LL HELP IT! DYNAMAX CANNON!”

Tyler: who the Death Dimension are you?

Charon nodded, "Correct. Although, I feel somewhat guilty..."

{Valiku laughed.} "The past is the past. Keep staring at it and it'll haunt you forever. Look ahead."

"so, where we headed? just more sitting around, or is there some mission. we basically confirmed that I have the means to fight the mage dudes, so do we build up an army? or do we just play passively?"

Another illusion append again. It looked blurry and static, like Charon was too preoccupied to make paper stable. Grabbing her hand, he lead her to the fight. "C'mon, Baka."

"alright, lets go! I haven't had a good fight in a while, and there are a few techniques I'm itching to try out!" Erin runs after Charon, eager to start. as she's running, she releases some of the taint energy, so she gets a black aura around herself, and she summons a pistol in her left hand, and a sword in her right, running with them at her sides.

Twilight: no. maybe. let me check my bounty book. if that's what you're referring to. Oh. I can't becuase that blasted Darkfall stole it for "research"

"what, you haven't heard the legends of the tainted angel? Alice's right hand woman? really? what do they teach around here?"

{Lightstar turned around with a gaze of determination.} "Then we'll get the book back!!"

{She sat down and looked at Charna} "Maybe you can introduce me, eh?"

Twilight: they only teach me of the threats against my country. and basic math priniples

"really?" Erin transforms into the full tainted angel. her hair goes an even darker shade of purple, with two pitch black highlights. her clothes, go pitch black with purple trims. her wings, become leathery, like bat wings, instead of feathery. she grows horns, with a purple and black spiral. "well, I may be of help with the enemies that are more than country threats." she transformed back to her base form.

Twilight: nope. is till don't recognize you.

"well then. I'm offended, I really am. you'd think Ethania's number two would gain herself a higher spot on the list, being a holy force of destruction and all."

Charon snapped at her, "Youre just like Aliza, you only focus on death, and thats what blinds you!"

"no, thats not it you cheeky bitch! all I'm focusing on is survival of myself, and anyone I happen to care about. If I have to kill a hoe to save someone, then I'll kill a hoe. so, tell me. who. I. need. to kill. or is there a way to deal with this WITHOUT killing? is that what you're implying?"

{Valiku kept padding along the path.} "Ask them, not me." {She flicked her tail to Charon and co.}

From a nearby Tree fell a stranger, she had Silver hair A black Long sleeve T-shirt, jeans and A sword on her side, in a sheath. (don't worry she's ok. she didn't die from the tree*)
of course, everyone knew the drill. they all got ready to attack whoever this was. Tyler reached for his sword, Alizia, grabbed a knife, The dogo like things Got there magic ready, Erin grabbed a sword (i think) and Mark, did... whatever mark does.
When she stood up she saw everyone and remembered what she was told "don't say what side your on just in case..." in case you don't know this is Twilight.
Twilight: I have a sword, and I'm not afraid to use it.
Twilight grabbed her sword with one hand ready to draw it out. and with her other sparks of electricity were coming out.
At this Tyler put his sword back, walked up to Twilight reached his hand out and said
Tyler: I'm Tyler.
Twilight: I'm Tyler, not your tyler, I mean I'm lost. no, I'm Twilight
Tyler: nice to meet you. we won't hurt you
Twilight Blushed and Looked down at the ground. one second later she was looking at tyler through her bangs
Tessy: (whispers in Tyler's ear) why would you say that. we don't know if she'll hurt us.

Reterna readied a dynamax cannon. “Who are you?”

Erin is still on guard, dream blade in her right hand, void pistol in her left. she was even letting a bit of the taint energy flow, causing little horn nubs to poke from her head. "any of y'all know this chick?"

Twilight: excuse me, "this chick" happens to be on a bounty for a large black dog-like creature that can kill you all by looking at it.

"a bounty hunter, huh?" Erin decides to put on the theatrics. "Well, I'm Erin Soshi, The Tainted Angel. heard of me?"

Erin: hey, you know this dude? he's tryna come with me for whatever reason.

{Valiku shook her head, but Lunarfall nodded.} "Kinda. Dustin right?"

Charon noticed Charna. "Hm? I dont think Ive met you before...." he said, walking over. "Though you do remind me of Lightstar, Lunarfall and Elactra, in a weird way....what are you muttering about?"

{Charna's muttering grew to a loud cry.} "WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH US?! YOUR MOTHER, YOUR FATHER, AND YOUR SISTER ARE ALL DEAD FROM YOUR CLAWS! WHAT ELSE DO YOU Want..." {She calmed down at the sight of familliar faces, and looked rather embarrased.} "My-my name is Charna. Luma Charna." {Valiku's eyes grew blood red as she murmmered.} "Traitor"

"soooo, you know this thing? I'm severely out of the loop"

{Charna and Valiku shook their heads.} "Nothing. Nothing at all." {They said in unison}

Charon shook her, "WHO IS?!"

{Lightstar growled} "ME!"

Charon let onto Lightstar, "Wait wait wait no!"

Charon got up, and went next to Lightstar, and held Nightshade at Knifepoint. "Speak. NOW."

Erin was wandering around trying to find the fight fake charon mentioned, looking around

Charon glared at Valiku, before picking up Charna gently. "There there...it'll be okay. Um.... I dont think I have a sister, though."

“Don’t say that to the little kitty!”

((Wait, I may have replied to the wrong comment.... oops))

{The attack was parried as the stranger stepped out.} "I knew you were alive," {She snarled at lightstar,} "And i won't dissapont her again"

Charon got in from of Lightstar protectively. "Who are you? I think not!"

((she looks kinda cute. how can she be evil?))

Charon growled, and got his bow and arrow, shooting one at Nightshade.

{Charna shuddered.} "No...The Mage of lights daughter." {Lunarfall and Electra stared at Lightstar, who shrank behind a tree.} "Murdered. Gone. So, therers no reason... i thought.

Charon sat down with her in his arms. "Woah, slow down. Start from the beginning."

{Charna took a deep breath.} "Ages ago the mage of light bore a daughter, but her father was a beast of horrible deeds. He was a demon. When the mage found out, she tried to love her child, but it was impossible. The mage of light ended up giving her to her demon father, whom taught her about hate and pain. It was centerys before the mage had another child, this one born of dawn and good. The mage loved this child much more, and it angered and pained the demon child, so in retaliation she killed her own family and blood."

{Charna looked up at the newcommer} "Nightshade," {She said, trying to hide her fear,} "She sent you instead of herself...she must be getting lazy!"

The dynamax cannon hit the arrow making it a flaming arrow. Again. Like how tf does his stuff happen?

{She toppled in pain, allowing lightstar to flip over and pin her to the ground}

Charon nodded, now understanding. "And...Im assuming the half-demon child that killed their own family and knows nothing more than hate and pain has come back? And are they this Darkfall you mentioned?"

"alright, enough talking. what I'm hearing is that someone did something really bad. so who do I have to kill??? i'm getting impatient."

{Charna wimpered.} "Very true."

((ok, this lore is getting easier to understand. except now I still got to figure out where Valiku and Charna fall in here. I have a feeling where your other two Oc's fit.))

Charon put himself before Lightstar. "...who are you? Go away."

“I think this is one of darkfall’s allies.”

{Nightshade smirked, then bared massive fangs} "OVER YOUR DEAD BODY!" {She yowled, lungeing over to lightstar. She knocked Charon over and tackled lightstar, who fought to free herself}

“Stay back, demon.”

Charon shifted uncomftorbly, before whispering. "Protect Lightstar."

It went near lightstar and sheilded her.

Ezra: I am hurt by that statement.

“You’re unimportant now. Bot to be rude but whatever.”

*ANGRE DRAGON NOISE*”RRAHH! DYNAMAX CANNON!”

“Darkfall? Never heard that name.....”

"oh, oh shit. now that's a backstory."

{Lightstar looked shocked.} "I HAD A EVIL SIS-" {Lunarfall shut her up with a glare.} "That...sounds like a load of bull-" {Electra cut them both of.} "It could be true!"

Charon looked at both of them. "Ah, yes. I had a feeling that you were the good child." he said, looking at Lightstar.

Nightshade{}Female{}240 Years old{}She's basically Darkfall's companion and trainee. Darkfall found her when she was younger, and raised her from that point on, giving Nightshade the kind of compassion that she never had growing up, even if it's not easily seen{}

((you say that now but trust me everything is involved in lore. sometime the color of a tree is involved in lore. take Scott Cawthon for example. He changes the color of the text changes slightly, and everything we know gets thrown away.))

((this makes me question every tiny detail, like character ages. This is the rp version of fnaf))

((now your thinking like me. though sometimes I think if I don't over complicate things then The answer would be clear))

((GOSH!! why do you have to make my life of lore finding harder? I was this close to finding out a certain thing but this person changes it all!!! *insert me throwing my chrome book* oh shot i think i cracked my screen))

{Lightstar's look of shock turned to anger, then depression, then anger again.} "I'll... I'LL GET HER! SHE CAN'T DO THAT TO MY MOTHER! AND MY DAD! WHAT KIND OF THING IS SHE?! HOW!?

Charon put Charna down, and went to Lightstar and picked her up. "Woah woah, calm down. Anger blinds you." he said. "You need to think clearly to make a plan."

{Lightstar continued shouting} "No I don't! I don't need a plan to throw her worthless body in the river-" "SILENCE! THINK!" {Electra growled loudly.} "That's exacly what she wants! stay calm, and think." {Valiku and lunarfall nodded in agreement.}

Charon saw she was losing it slightly, and grabbed her again, holding onto her tightly, so she couldn't run off.

{Charna fwailed and then went limp.} "It's here..."

Charon nodded, "Hes...kinda part of the team."

"alright, I'm confused. if he's with your team, why'd he say that you're too weak for him?"

Charon looked at her, "Oh well....its like... he dosnt like us...." then he looked at Dustin, "You said what?"

Dustin: becuase Three of them I beat single-handedly, a Dragon, an Elf, and a Demi-Goddess. so I was looking for stronger Team mates

Darkfall{}404 years old{}Female{}Vengeful and stubbon, cynical. She's a bit like lightstar, but with a lot more temper.{}She found and trained Nightshade, and also sent her out to spread the lie that Lightstar's mother was killed by the other mages. She can summon giant beasts and controls matter and anti-matter.{}

Charon strung an arrow on his bow, and growled. "Talk about Aliza like that again!"

Dustin: I wasn't talking about Alizia, I was talking about the other one

Charon snorted, "But still. If she had the capacity to almost kill you, the least you can do is not lump us in rest the rest of her. Consider her strong, at least."

{It wasn't long before the group found Charna. The witch cat was shivering from hat to tail, almost like an even more tramatized Ember, muttering over and over again.} "Darkfall.... their dead..."

((Spiff forgetful me- The number is five, cause one's still hidden.))

"well, let's just say I'm a bit to much of a step up from that. I AM a goddess, albeit a lower ranking one."

((hence is where we have a problem with the lore... There are only 7 gods/goddesses. and all of them are of equal rank. though maybe you could be one of there apprentices. ))
Dustin: thanks but, I was hoping to team with Marroneth (for Sheriff's sake, he is the God of Moon, shadow, and the absence of the light type of darkness)

((so how is Alice gonna fit in? or can we just write her off as an extremely high power deity?))

((By goddess was a slight exaggeration lol. there's basically this being known as Alice that created Erin's type of angel, and Erin is basically her right hand woman, so she's basically known as a goddess among her type of angel. she just said that for flair))

so the big two are:
Darkain, and Ethania.
Ethania: goddess of essence life and Light Magic. made dragons and helped make humans
Darkain: god of Evil, Death, and Dark magic. made demons, and help make Humans

the rest are as follow:
Marroneth: god of the moon, shadow, and Dark.
Surnamin: god of sun, fire, and light
Olivia: goddess of the ocean, water, and ice
Elrain: god of earth (as inland), Rock, and vegetation
Skylar: goddess of Sky, Lightning, and wind.

{It wasn't long before the group found Charna. The witch cat was shivering from hat to tail, almost like an even more tramatized Ember, muttering over and over again.} "Darkfall.... their dead..."

{Lightstar looked a little confused} "Which Demi-goddess? we have..." {Electra piped in} "Like three."

Dustin: The Essences one, I keep forgetting her name

Wait..... is dustin even female or male?!

((yeah, senee is also a Demi-goddess, that was a big reason why she is S-tier [not only reason]))

Charon glared at her, "Please, do not use such vulgar words." he said, before clearing his throat. "And yes, there might be a way to do it without murder."

Erin channels some of the taint energy into a ball, and crushes it in her fist, engulfing her arm is a black flame. she does the same with her other arm, but with white AngelFlame. "alright, alright. so what are YOU suggesting happens?"

Charon sighed, "We destroy their power source, so they cant use magic any longer. They, we tell them to relinquish the rest of their power, 'killing' them as mages. If they dont comply, THEN we can murder them."

"fine. so when are we going to do this? I could be the ace in the whole."

Charon shrugged, "As soon as we can, though theres a fight going on with the real me right now so if you wanna help, that'd be cool." he said, fading out like a ghost.

Erin doesn't exactly seem right. something has gotten her worked up, it seems like

"is it murder, or a deserved death? is there such thing as "murder" in a place like this, or is the sustenance. its a wasteland. resources are limited. crimes like murder are irrelevant here! its KILL, OR BE KILLED! people don't realize that! pacifism doesn't work! you can lay low, but only for so long! death! is! inevitable!"

“Yeah.....”
It roars at erin.

Charon got a knife and tacked her, pinning her to the ground, and holding a knife to her throat. "Oi! DONT TALK ABOUT EVERYONE LIKE THAT!" he snarled at her. "MY MOTHER IS A MAGE, AND SHES NOT LIEK THAT! I KNOW OTHER MAGES ARE NOT LIKE THAT PEOPEL LIKE YOU AND ALIZA ARE THR REASON WHY WE ACT LIKE SAVAGES!"

Dustin: i thought your mother was dead?

Charon snorted, "I thought she was too...."

Erin released a burst of taint energy, knocking Charon into the air, jumped up, then slammed her into the ground. "people like me and this aliza, whoever that is, are the people who survive! life cannot continue without death."

((Charon's a dude-))

Erin phased right through Charon. "Pft. Stupid idiots dont know and illusion when they see one." he said, looking at her. "Look, we can get along without murder! Ive never killed unless it was self defense, and Im still here!"

"I never said we couldn't. I'm calling you delusional for saying that we can get through this without killing anyone."

Illusion Charon snorted, "And I never said that. We kill, but only if we need to. Id rather avoid bloodshed when necessary. Im not my father, but Im not Aliza either. "
