Quid pro quo is the drum that the impeachment crew have beat for a long time.

Doesn’t change the transcript, which speaks for itself and is impeachment-worthy all on its own.

How?

Commandeering a foreign nation’s judicial resources to single out Biden’s son for prosecution. That’s even how Trump phrased it — “Biden’s son.” In other words, it’s transparent that he only cares about Hunter to the extent that he’s related to a likely political opponent. He neither asked nor cared about “corruption in Ukraine” in any other respect.

Except the fact that he actually did ask about other things involving Ukraine's corruption well before asking about the firing and the threat what was used to make it happen. Just because you cut out and ignored that facts you don't like in a selective quote doesn't mean they do not exist.

Trump, as usual, doesn’t sound super cogent or prepared during this phone call. They talked about other things and it’s debatable whether you can file them under the heading of “corruption in Ukraine,” or indeed whether this concept (which has been pushed by Trump’s supporters to defend him) even makes sense. It’s not really Trump’s job to tell another country who or who not to prosecute. I think when you get down to it; whatever else they discussed on the call, it doesn’t change the nature of the request circled in red.

He didn't ask for prosecution in the call, he asked foe evidence to be turned over to the AG for a possible crime of extortion.

Not sure where you’re getting thatS He literally used the words “prosecution” twice in the circled section. Trump’s exact wording is perhaps vague and ambiguous and subject to debate. But it amounted to a request to a foreign nation to devote judicial resources against a political opponent’s son.

LOL. you need to read the context, the stopping of that prosecution was the crime he was asking to be looked into. That is neither vague nor ambiguous. And do you think that running for president provides immunity from being investigated for crimes to you and your family? Cause you can say that Schiff pressuring Ukraine to flip on Trump is the exact same thing.
