Of course soldiers are not the only useful props, the same 'you-cannot-question-them' admonitions arose for other useful DeepState or CreepState entities (despite that they don't have moth-balled uniforms to wear for the occasion) -- and yes, ones that aren't useful or are counter to a purpose, are marginalized or destroyed (regardless of uniform)... We also seem to have a 4th Estate, which has become really part of a 5th Column... Whether people agree with some liberal issues or not, they should be VERY concerned with the manner in which the means and channels of Govt are being subverted or twisted. Not knowing that there is a 'silent coup' is one thing; not having any problem with it is a whole-nother-level of dangerous complaceny... Because the same forces working 'for you' could (and most probably will) work against you sooner or later, since their means become their 'ends' -- and you'll be powerless to stop it.
