Most people who say they don't trust "Main-stream corporate media" are really conservatives who mean "I don't trust liberal media." Mother Jones is non-corporate, ad free, non-profit investigative magazine that's been around since the 1970s. It is the exact opposite of "main-stream corporate" and probably the original "anti-main stream" publication. BUT, it's a liberally biased magazine. So, ironically, it is the exact thing conservatives are asking for, but at the same time the thing that they will refuse to read. I hope that helps.
