Look, I’m no apologist, but they were considering this back in 2016 with Sun and Moon, and that would have had the same effect. They probably skipped it in Gen 7 because of the backlash it would receive, people would not appreciate the amazing story they were trying to tell in SM’s story-driven content. And because of that decision, SM didn’t even have all the Pokémon they had planned, and they had to be pushed to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon the next year, and Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee the year after that.
It was going to happen eventually, and I’d rather have a better product, especially since Pokémon games are now $60, something which I can’t afford if the games are crap.
Your Gardevoirs and Lucarios and Delphoxes are NOT gone forever. They will be in future Pokémon games, perhaps even a Generation 4 remake. Not to mention that Pokémon HOME is going to contain a couple features of its own, it is not just Pokémon Bank 2.0.
Your complaining is solving absolutely nothing, and is demoralizing Game Freak.
