It is the new normal

Talking about impeachment from the day you lost an election goes back to Thomas Jefferson. Every President hears that kind of bitter muttering.

Having an actual case strong enough to secure an impeachment for reals - THAT is out of the ordinary. So good luck with that.

True for democrats, they always cry and try to impeach And you are right, they have nothing on Trump.

True for both sides. Every President deals with it.

But Trump is not a normal President and for once, an impeachment is a serious possibility.

Good luck trying to replicate that on a Democratic president. It's not normal.

What is not normal is how this impeachment push started, it is seen as a coup and the anger is real. If it did happen I would expect to see people in congress hiding, tar and feathered or worse. The hard truth is almost half of all Americans will never trust another election. I have always voted person over party, I lean Republican on national issues, democrats for local elections but that is over. I can't ever see me supporting another democrat.

Don't care and I'm not sure that as many people as you think will care either. Trump came in guns blazing running his mouth about all the constitutionally illegal things he'd do if he were President and you were fine with it; now he's been caught, he gets what he deserves. You want to talk about trust, how about trust in justice?

There's nothing about this that qualifies as a coup d'etât and you know it. And if you think you can replicate this on a Democrat President who *actually has experience at governance*, then good luck with that - try to prove me wrong.

You are wrong, making liberals cry is not a crime. High crimes would be a reason for an impeachment but Trump hasn't committed of any or charged with any, so they went with a coup. The entire democrat leadership should be in jail but you don't care about their crimes. I could list the dozen reasons that obama should be charged with high crimes and point out that in time of war his treason could result in the death penalty but that would just cause you to run to your safe space. So, lets just watch and see, I am betting millions of armed Republicans would fight for Trump, democrats are betting their lives on me being wrong, I am ok with that.

I'm sure you could list reasons Obama could be impeached. You'd just be listing a bunch of unproven theories that never gained traction through lack of evidence, though.

Here, the case is very strong because Trump does not stop implicating himself. There is no need for a coup: the constitution allows this.

Wrong again, the system has to allow both sides access and cross examination, even then only after charges have been made. This is and will go down in history as a coup. Fake witnesses with political agendas is illegal. Fighting against the legal government to force change is a coup. Nothing about this is legal, moral or ethical. Every supporter of this madness is a traitor, no spin can change that.

Here is the thing, for the 8 years of the obama crime wave your side ignored payments to terror nations, terror groups, guns to Mexican gangs, payments to friends, family, political friends. missing money, sharing of classified information, hiding links to pedophiles and the growing list of dead Clinton witnesses. No matter what you could accuse Trump off he looks like a boy scout compared to democrats and no one on my side will ever listen to anything you say until you first clean your own house.

We didn't ignore it, we just found that the basis for it was not that solid. Certainly not as solid as it is now.
