I would prefer a clean shave or a little stubble. It also depends on the person, some men suit beards more than others

I usually keep a scruffy beard, my wife prefers a goatee on me though. I just hate shaving so that's how it ends up, lol. A girl with long straight hair in a neat ponytail is really attractive to me, or flowing curls. I'm not a huge fan of short hair on women, but if done right it works.

While I love a Van Dyke beard on a guy, my husband has one like the one in the photo, just a little longer. When he shaves his head and braids it he looks particularly sexy! And as long as the beard is well-groomed and doesn't come down to the waistline I think most beards are awesome.
