Personally I don't get the non-mexican american celebration of the mexican independence day, but I do use every excuse I can to eat mexican food and drink margaritas, lol :)

Lol I want to say Thanksgiving because of the get-togethers with family, but I have so many good memories with my kid on Christmas, that I have to go with Christmas. :-)
