CO2 controlled warming is an overly simplistic explanation of a complex cyclical system which is known to balances itself.

The natural balances in earth's systems would cause an CO2 related increases in temperaure to lag behind the actual amounts of CO2 increases in the atmosphere, that would be what is called a confounding factor.

So the point is that we're f**king with the Earth's balancing mechanism. No idea where you got the 1,400 year lag from; industry has been pumping CO2 for 150 years and sea level started rising in response to that in the last 30-50 years depending on who you ask.

No, the point is, the earth has a natural system in place that maintains balance regardless of changes. Even when that "balanced system" is challenged i.e. pumping a shit ton of CO2 into the atmosphere, the earth has fail-safes in place to counter those changes. In other words, the earth makes adjustments. The planets complex system has a lot of counter effects that greatly resist any drastic changes from occurring. This doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't a potential for an increase in temperature from an increase of Co2 but the affects would be minimal.

CO2 lagging behind rising temps for 20,000 yrs serves as a good indicator that it was not the catalyst for it in the past. Temperature rising before the industrial revolution is also a good indicator that there is no connection to natural warming and anthropogenic warming.

Too many false claims by climate change proponents and intentional omissions of critical natural laws help to dishonestly control the climate scare narrative. For example, The coral bleaching lie, the claims of acidification of the ocean resulting in the death of sea life or CO2 solubility as it pertains to the ocean. In extreme depths, CO2 DOESN'T become acidic, it remains alkaline even with CO2 in the high thousands ppm. Even though CO2 is drawn to the cold (see. convection) the deeper it goes, the higher the Ph levels (above 7).

Also, the ocean has a great resistance to temperature change. It's only the surface of the ocean that experiences major fluctuations in temperature. The warmer the water surface. The more resistance to CO2 absorption from the surface (See. Henry's law) (law of solubility).

Another important point to make is that CO2's ability to reflect "some" of the infrared radiation (aka warmth) is limited. Most people don't realize that CO2 has a cap. It's difficult to explain but if you double the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere to 800 ppm you might double it's reflection effect but if the concentration is tripled to 1,200 ppm it's ability to reflect will still remain approximately the same as if it were still 800 ppm. Climate change proponents elude to this fact because it doesn't help promote hysteria.

Also, living under conditions of 1,200 ppm of CO2 is not a big deal. People live and breathe in conditions where 1,200 ppm is normal but they are completely unaware that the CO2 concentration is that high.

Sea level is incredibly minimal and is caused by natural cycles.

Do yourself a favor and put some water and ice cubes in a glass. Mark the water level, let the ice melt and mark the water level again.

The 1,400 lag came from ice core data which showed CO2 lagging anywhere from hundreds of years behind warming all the way to as far as 1,400 years.
