Actually my ugh was for the meme, sorry I think some "criticism" is in poor taste .. I'm,not even,a fan of his but I detest the jokes about his sex life, his family, esp.those @ daughter. No one deserves that much less a sitting President. It just goes to show how sardonic and irreverent and disrespectful our culture has become.

the meme isn't about his sex life. it's about him buying votes in the senate. crawling into bed with him is meant metaphorically.

I see. I wasn't aware he needed to buy Senate votes, so I didn't get it. I just took it at face value, looked at the comments, and the history of ppl doing that so often in the past, so my bad.

Also, I thought he Already had all the support/votes he needs to avoid impeachment in the Senate . why does he need to have anyone quote "climb into bed with him"

Trump doesn't have any votes until a vote is taken. jurors aren't supposed to vote until they've heard the cases presented by defense and prosecution. so right now, no one is committed to him. since the evidence for quid pro quo was provided by Trump, and it very clearly shows him asking the Ukrainian govt to help investigate Biden, it seems that any senator will need a very unusual reason not to vote for conviction. so, every GOP senator who votes for acquittal will seem to become his bedmate.

Hmmm, I don't doubt that is the legal way to look at it.
From a purely political standpoint ..theres plenty of debate and deliberation already in the court of public opinion.
Case in point--> the political theater played outside of the committee meeting that happened recently. Trump's had the Senate majority leader and most of the Senate support up until now...dont see that changing.
I'll be honest I've got a chronic reoccurring headache from,trying to keep up with it all...especially when,the narratives are so ambiguous & divisive...so sometimes I just don't watch the news 4 awhile to escape the headache. So ur probably more up to date than I am.
