Governments will use meh climate change as an excuse to impose new taxes who will this impact most the poorest sections of society or the richest. Also if they were serious about over population causing CC then they should protest feeding starving people and sending medical aid to poor countries, if they do that then I might listen

...you seem to be under the impression that the underlying cause to climate change is that there's too many people. The cause is that we're burning shit that shouldn't be in the air. Even if we were to accept that mass starvation and pandemic aren't shockingly awful things to advocate for, it still wouldn't actually *do* anything for the climate.
