If he's removed without a senate trial conviction, then you have a problem.
Congressional impeachment doesn't mean anything without a vote, and it means even less when everything is done behind closed doors. There is zero chance of a senate trial if there is no vote, and barely a sliver of a chance if there is a senate trial.
