Let me help you out here, because I'm sure that math isn't your forte.
Republicans hold 53 seats, Democrats 45, independent 2. An impeachment trial conviction requires 2/3. That means all the Democrats, both independents, and 20 Republicans must vote to convict.
There is ZERO chance of that happening. Democrats are afraid to lose their seats, because national polls show that a majority of the population does not want impeachment. No Republican would turn against the party, or they could lose their seat as well.
Zero chance. It's simple math.
