If you want impeachment, you need to be thinking "Senate" - where the trial occurs. Otherwise, it's just a vote in the House (that Nancy is afraid to allow). A house impeachment vote does absolutely nothing - it's the Senate trial you need to focus on, but there is no way for Democrats to win.

This should be amusing. How many republicans must go against their party to convict the POTUS in a senate trial?

Let me help you out here, because I'm sure that math isn't your forte.

Republicans hold 53 seats, Democrats 45, independent 2. An impeachment trial conviction requires 2/3. That means all the Democrats, both independents, and 20 Republicans must vote to convict.

There is ZERO chance of that happening. Democrats are afraid to lose their seats, because national polls show that a majority of the population does not want impeachment. No Republican would turn against the party, or they could lose their seat as well.

Zero chance. It's simple math.

Personally, I hope he lasts that long, he is a bigger problem to Republicans than to Democrats.

2. Nothing sinks Republicans like a Trump.

New Hampshire doesn't mean anything. He didn't win it in 2016, and as he is the republican incumbent there is no republican primary in NH for 2020.

There is nothing to lose in New Hampshire.
