Secondly, it is based on a true story of a young female who did not seek help in understanding a simple operator level issue by asking someone or checking the manual. The concept was what if she was sent to space and behaved the same way despite her engineering training?
So are you offended because it comes off sexist or because it insults engineers/astronauts or a mixture of both? But also ask yourself, why are we making such a big deal out of having an all woman space walk in the first place? That’s like sexist to the tenth power. But you don’t see that irony because you decided it was of paramount importance to feign offense.
