The point is that Bill Clinton was impeached during his presidency.
President Donald Trump, for lack of evidence after three years and millions of dollars spent on his investigation, will not be impeached. Besides, by this point, still trying to impeachment is a waste of money, because the 2020 elections are already in mind. I'd be cheaper and easier to let him finish this term and focus on building their campaign, something that President Trump has already gotten started on.
