You're right, so only God can change your mind. I can give you every evidence sufficient to believe, but if your heart is hard against believing, you never will. You, will find every excuse in the world not to believe.
And with Christianity, it only has a certain amount of evidence where you will either give in to your carnal inclination (Romans 8:6-8), or, you surrender in repentance and faith in Christ.
