Studying to become a LEED AP. It's a green building organization that promotes sustainable and energy efficient building design and construction. Although I do support green buildings and believe in the positive impact on energy consumption they have, I don't believe that organization goes about it the right way. It is a money making organization, pay to play. There are many other standards that can be achieved to the same effect such as Energy Star that do not cost anywhere near as much money, and doing things as simple as investing in a solar farm on a building roof or on the property that can negate reliance on fossil fuel electric generation. These things don't get you a shiny plaque to hang on your front door or the bragging rights that go with it, but you're doing good regardless.
Had I been more familiar with the program, I probably wouldn't have done it, but it did help me get a better understanding of sustainable design so it wasn't for naught.
