Do you know why he left? I never could figure that out. He mentioned on occasion some things he wasnt keen on with the site, but I dont remember anything that seemed like he was fed up.

No, he just left one day. Might have been something going on behind the scenes because Dash left about the same time and I remember him talking about being made at some new policy or something.

I remember him being a little frustrated with the mods for not featuring some of his memes. Although that might not be why he left.
