It all ends up disseminating into the atmosphere anyway. The difference is that the plants producing carbon have their levels go up to accommodate all these electric vehicles. When you couple that with the increased carbon put into the atmosphere because of the additional mining requirements necessary to build these vehicles, then you don't have a net loss of Co2, but a net gain. You're literally harming the environment more, but feel better and somehow think ya got a higher podium from which to lecture others from, when in fact you're just as bad in some cases, worse in others.

Toxics in cities are bigger problem than co2, lot of diseases.
