well, young Myrian, i can't say i agree with you on all of that 100%, but i will say that your party's leaders and it's major supporting sponsors and its main media outlets do seem to be on those particular bandwagons to hell. some good news here is that you seem to be pretty smart (i don't know about super intelligent really), and you can choose to withdraw your support from the GOP at any time. another possibility (with a slim chance of success, imo) is trying to persuade your leadership to adopt more humane positions that would immediately result in less death and agony in schools and elsewheres. also, i don't know how closely you follow the Dems, but a lot of them are saying that mass shootings are bad and we should do something about them asap. so throwing your votes and cash in those sorts of directions is another option you have.
i don't preach a lot, as you've prob'ly noticed, but i think that service to the people is the proper main role of government, rather than service of big business, the NRA, racists, and other madmen. it may well be that most republicans have simply lost control of their party to manipulative leaders, and that the main body of citizens who vote republican are not murder mongers at all but just honestly misguided. to us rank and file normal people, it looks and sounds like brainwashing. so that's a point of opinion where you and i differ significantly. incidentally, i was in a cafeteria for lunch today and heard three gents at a nearby table discussing how the people who'd like to see Trump in jail are the people who should really be put there. i didn't go over and ask them how they can be so supportive of a nasty, lying scumbag (you know the usual response, like a broken record: "you f*ing liberals only know what CNN tells you and blah blah blah". it's stupid funny, their thinking that anyone who objects to Trumpweasel is a liberal, and that only people like themselves have brains, but it's also tragic and scary given the ongoing and possible future consequences for the country on the whole).
now, if you're really "morally superior and not virtue signaling at all", that's all to the good. we need all the moral strength we can get these days. i honestly didn't get any virtue signaling from what you said, so don't worry bout that.
