You're cute. Dumb. But cute. Metaphorically, not physically, so keep your pants on. No one said there's a promise involving killing people who make fun of your baldness. Pay attention, now, I'm educating you: baldness had nothing to do with it. Repeat: baldness had nothing to do with it. Elisha was a young man at this point, so his baldness probably had to do with an oath he had made (similar to, if not exactly, the vow of the Nazirite)...not because he had gone bald.
Nevertheless, the baldness had nothing to do with anything. Again, you're probably reading some "skeptic" website, and they're telling you things that you think are true, not willing to do the research for yourself.
As far as religion...yes, in general, it's not only a waste of time, energy, and space, it's much, much worse: it's a stench to God, a fact which He repeats throughout the entire Bible. In fact...it's so important to Him, it's one of the Ten Commandments: "You must not take the Lord's Name as your own for nothing."
God's greatest rebukes, His greatest punishments, are reserved for the religious. All throughout the Bible, the people who got it the worst were those who pretended to be believers but were not.
God would prefer you were an atheist than for you to call yourself His and then behave like an atheist. That's paganism, and it's one of the worst things a person can do.
So alllllll those people who "go to church" on "Sunday"...? Who celebrate "Easter" and "Christmas"...? Who react violently when challenged or questioned...? Who put their faith, hope, and trust in the Bible, and not It's Author...? Who point to the "church fathers" and their "traditions" as their guides? Every single one of them is breaking the Third Commandment. Every single one of them is counterfeit. Every single one, a denizen of Babylon, to whom the angel says "Come out of her, My people, that you not share in her sins..."
Every. Single. One.
You didn't answer my question: who do you think I say that I am...?
