For me it's Coca Cola, cereal, Neese's sausage, and hot dogs. Are you brand loyal to anything?

I'm not picky when it comes to food and will gladly buy off brand to save a buck. There are more stores making organic and healthy option. My exception is pizza. Any time I try to go cheap I regret it (ahem Walmart cardboard covered in cheese and pepperoni )

True story...although I've never gotten one, I've heard that Costco has a store brand pizza that is really good, have you ever had one? I need to go over there today, might pick one up just to see.

Costco is pretty good. If I have to get frozen I usually grab a Freschetta or Red Baron. Takeout is Little Ceasers hands down.

I'll forgive you since you have 6 mouths to feed, but LC is bottom of the barrel darlin! Not bad in a pinch though, and you can't beat the price. We usually get Dominos or Papa Johns, but then we don't eat a lot of pizza so we tend to get the better stuff when we do get takeout. There's also a Hungry Howies near us that is pretty good, not sure if those are everywhere or just around here.

OMG! I had some of those in Ireland while in Belfast! They were awesome! As I remember it was at the titanic museum. I would definitely not substitute them, you are spot on.

Lol, you should definitely try them ;) I remember when I was a kid (I lived in Scotland for awhile) whenever my grandparents visited from Ireland they always brought a box of Tayto crisps.

lol, I don't even buy canned veggies unless I'm making chili or something. Frozen is always better, and I will buy store brand veggies if it's a decent store...bought green beans once that had more stems than beans, it was horrible...

Agreed. I’ve had better luck with the frozen veggies than the canned ones.

I'm with you on the canned goods. I once opened a Kroger store brand cream of chicken and there was mold in it and also in the second and third can. I think I had the same issue with their applesauce. Never again.

Oh that is so gross. That’s enough to turn someone off from store brands for good. Yuck.

I avoid soda (except for mixed drinks like I'm imbibing currently), could careless less about bread (prefer bakery bread and our store makes a great marble rye). The best decaf coffee I ever had was store brand. (Price Chopper's, but Publix is good too) We do buy Kayem hot dogs, but that's my wife. I use to prefer a brand name greek yogurt, but they now sell a blended type that has no fruit in it and I love me some fruit.

I think what I am more picky on is power tools. I have been buying Milwaukee when I can. Love my new M12 drill set and my sawzall is still going strong after almost 20 years.

I dont skimp on power tools, unless it's something I use once or twice a year. Then its harbor freight all the way, lol. I have a dewalt drill set that I've had for 10 years now, it's been great. Porter cable has been good to me as well, and I've actually had some decent luck with black and decker although their warranty on power tools is pretty bad.

I love a good rye bread, especially with some well procured roast beef to go on it with whole grain deli mustard and a little baby swiss or havarti cheese.

Hard to go wrong with horseradish and roast beef, sounds good! I've recently gotten into vodka tonics, not sure why but my tastes have been craving sour and bitter stuff lately.

I like a lot of costco stuff, their paper products are really pretty good. A store that big doesnt get where they are without decent name brand stuff. But...I'll always buy name brand cereal, theres no substitute.

I've had Costco brand stuff before, it's pretty good, especially the vodka. He likes the scotch, I'm not crazy about it.
