Very true. We have millions of years of ice cores to prove the fact that each time CO2 increases so do the temperatures.

That is true, but in every case with increased CO2 there has also been increased temperatures.

what do they say about correlation and causation? how big of a factor is the Sun in this equation? Solar activity, orbital changes, etc.?

It has long been thought, (like for 100yrs) that increases in CO2 in the atmosphere would increase temperatures. Ice samples can't determine if CO2 rose first or if temperatures rose first. But the samples show both happened at about the same time. It's now happening again due to increasing CO2 above 400ppm. Higher today than at any point over the last 800,000 years. We were at about 320ppm in 1960.

Well, it can be dangerous in concentrated amounts.

There is no difference in plant growth between 320ppm and 400ppm. We can't recoup and sequester the increased CO2 through increased plant growth.

Ambient air ranges 300-500ppm. 1500ppm is what some greenhouses shoot for- increasing yields significantly. You are wrong.
