Walmart isn't responsible for gun deaths anymore than Ronald McDonald is responsible for heart failure.
So what 'else' is Walmart apparently responsible for?

Continuing to sell alcohol and tobacco products that kill thousands a year, cough syrup and other household drugs that people can overdose on and also continuing to sell hammers, knives and crowbars that criminals use to break into homes and commit murder

By that logic, every convenience store, pharmacy and DIY store isn't any different

Exactly. I know it's ass backwards thinking, just trying to hit home that if Walmart wants to action on shootings then they might as well also take action to other deaths that can and do happen with their products.
